Craft CMS

One of the publishing systems we specialise in when developing websites is Craft CMS. Craft CMS is a very flexible, robust, scalable and user-friendly publishing system.

Vasser is an official Craft CMS partner

We are an official Craft CMS partner, with many years of experience with the system. We consider Craft CMS an extremely stable, solid solution.

Craft CMS pays especially close attention to the user experience for end clients, but also for the developers and designers working with the system. In our view, that makes Craft CMS outstanding.

Craft CMS is user-friendly

Our experience is that clients and users of Craft CMS are particularly happy with how easy it is to work with. The admin interface is modern, user-friendly, responsive and, not least, accessible.

Systems comparable to Craft CMS

We have built knowledge of many other tools along the way.

In cases where we feel Craft CMS is too extensive, we often lean on Kirby CMS as a simpler alternative. The two systems have much in common, but Kirby CMS is sharpened for smaller projects with simpler content-editing needs. Craft CMS, on the other hand, is aimed at medium to large web solutions, and shines brightest there.

Examples of other alternatives are WordPress, Shopify, Sanity, Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, Drupal, Joomla and Optimizely. In our opinion, Craft CMS stands out as a solution we can vouch for many years ahead. Long-term thinking matters to us – we see it as our responsibility to propose solutions that are thought through for the long run.

Craft CMS in Norway

Craft CMS has grown strongly in recent years, notably in the Norwegian market too. We enjoy seeing this. Not only is the number of Craft CMS websites increasing, but so is the number of agencies delivering Craft CMS services. This makes for a more stable, robust market where clients can feel confident that the expertise is widely available.

Operating Craft CMS websites

We always recommend our clients have an operations agreement with a technical supplier. For those used to simpler "do-it-yourself" solutions like Wix and Squarespace, this can feel like an unfamiliar cost. For others used to larger, heavier systems like Optimizely, it will feel like a given.

The reason we recommend it is simply that Craft CMS itself clearly recommends keeping the system regularly updated, and updating the system requires a development environment and the necessary technical expertise. Without developers you will slowly but surely remain on an increasingly outdated system, which can lead to security problems and errors on the site.

We deliver operations agreements both included in projects and separately in connection with migrations or takeovers of projects.
